About this book
All children grow up except one — and Wendy learns this at the age of two, in the garden. At number 14, the Darling children sleep under the watch of a Newfoundland dog named Nana, while their mother tidies their thoughts at night and finds a strange name recurring in them: Peter. Then the nursery window blows open, a light no bigger than a fist darts about the room, and a boy dressed in leaves and tree sap drops through, still in possession of all his baby teeth.
